This summer, we had the honor of photographing Bryce and Shannon’s surprise proposal in Grand Teton National Park. The scene was set in an open field bursting with wildflowers, with the towering Grand Teton mountain range as a their backdrop. The day was filled with romance, laughter, and genuine emotion, creating memories that will last a lifetime for these cuties!

Grand Teton National Park offers some of the most dramatic and beautiful landscapes in the United States. The jagged peaks of the Tetons rise sharply against the sky, creating a powerful contrast with the soft, colorful wildflowers that blanket the fields below. Summer is such an amazing time of year here, especially during peak wildflower season, when the meadows come alive with vibrant yellows and purples. Bryce chose this location carefully. He wanted a place that felt personal and breathtaking, where nature’s beauty would amplify the significance of the moment. The open field where he proposed was surrounded filled with wildflowers in full bloom, creating a natural pop of color that added to the romantic atmosphere!

One of the key factors that made this proposal so special was the timing. Planning a surprise proposal in a national park requires attention to detail, especially when it comes to seasonal changes. Wildflower season in Grand Teton typically peaks in early to mid summer, offering a short window when the fields are at their most colorful. Bryce’s careful planning ensured that the proposal happened during this peak period. From the moment Bryce got down on one knee, the atmosphere was filled with joy and excitement. Shannon’s surprise and happiness were evident, and their chemistry was undeniable. As photographers, our goal is to always capture these authentic moments without interrupting. After their proposal, Bryce and Shannon’s engagement session was a joy to shoot. Their natural chemistry made every shot feel effortless and genuine. We explored a few of our favorite spots, and these two absolutely crushed it from beginning to end!
