Winter time in Jackson is a time when people get together for the holidays, families travel from a far to hit the slopes, and of course, proposals! Winter just about anywhere is engagement season for couples and photographers alike and Jackson is no exception! With the plethora of scenic options in the area, there's something for everybody looking for that perfect spot to pop the questions. One popular location amongst our couples during this time of year is the antler arches at Jackson Square! There are days the road conditions and visibility can be downright hazadous so staying a little closer to town can be a great option. It's also an iconic location to comemorate such a milestone in any relationship. Just stand downtown next to the square for a few minutes and observe and you're guaranteed to see just about every group stop and snap a few shots at the antler arches. They are very popular and make for the perfect backdrop during this time of year (or any for that matter)!
For Tanner and Julie's Jackson Hole proposal, it ended up being an exceptionally cold and windy day so choosing downtown ended up working out for a multitude of reasons since the buildings help break up some of the wind Jackson Hole is known for. The moment was perfection for these two! Tanner and Julie embraced in a big hug after she said yes and the rest is history! After a few happy tears, Julie's besty Hannah joined in on the fun to celebrate with these two. Between their great energy and chesmitry on camera, Julie and Tanner absolutely rocked their session! We even squeezed in a quick drive to the park to catch what ended up being a beautifully warm sunset to contrast the cool evening! It was a fun one and one we won't soon forget. So many congrats to Tanner and Julie and as always, we hope you all enjoy following along!
