Jared and Mae had already exchanged their vows back home, but they wanted something special to remember their honeymoon by—photos of them in their wedding attire, surrounded by the breathtaking beauty of Grand Teton National Park! Their elopement session was more than just pictures, it was a celebration of their love, set against some of the most stunning natural backdrops in the country! Starting at Jenny Lake at sunrise and ending in the heart of the park, their session captured moments of joy, intimacy, and the quiet power of nature.

Jenny Lake is a favorite spot for many visiting Grand Teton National Park, and for good reason. The lake’s clear waters reflect the surrounding peaks, creating a mirror-like surface that adds depth and drama to any photo. Jared and Mae chose to begin their session here in the early morning hours, just as the sun was rising. The light was soft and warm, casting a golden glow over everything. It's also a good idea to start at this time because it helps cut down on crowding. The quiet of the morning gave the couple a chance to share some private vows, just the two of them, with the shoreline and mountains as their witnesses. This moment was deeply personal and set a joyful, lighthearted tone for the rest of the session. The calm water and gentle light made every shot feel like a scene from a dream. Throughout the session, Jared and Mae’s happiness was clear. Their smiles, laughter, and tender glances showed the strength of their connection. The natural setting helped them relax and be themselves, which made the photos even more genuine.

After spending time at Jenny Lake, we traveled deeper into the park to Cathedral Group Turnout. This mountain field is one of our favorite locations because it offers wide-open spaces and dramatic views of the Cathedral Group peaks. The contrast between the field and the rugged mountains creates a stunning backdrop! Grand Teton National Park offers more than just a pretty background. The mountains, lakes, and fields add emotion and depth to wedding photos. They remind us of the vastness of the world and the strength of love within it. Jared and Mae’s session shows how nature can enhance the story of a couple’s journey together. Their photos capture not only their happiness but also the peacefulness and grandeur of the park. This combination makes for images that will be treasured for a lifetime.
