We've been blessed to connect with so many amazing couples this winter through their surprise proposal sessions here in Jackson Hole! We recently had the pleasure getting to be a part of Jared & Aspen's proposal at Taggart Lake Trailhead in the Grand Teton National Park and the experience was awesome! There's always an exciting energy heading into these sessions and this one definitely set the bar!
Taggart Lake Trailhead is a favorite spot for hikers, cross country skiers, and nature lovers, known for its stunning views of the Tetons and the serene lake nestled among snow-covered trees just a few miles in. It's a beautiful location no matter what time of year, but there's definitely something special about this place in the winter time. By the time we staged ourselves and waited to Jared to arrive with Aspen, they had the entire place to themselves (or so we thought, more on that in a moment). Jared approaced us just like any casual stranger would and asked if we wouldn't mind getting quick photo of him and his girlfriend. Little did she know there was more to his simple request than met the eye. For a second Aspen was looking around and taking in all of the beauty of the area, at this time Jared made his move and dropped down to one knee. As she turned back towards him, she was overcome with emotion! It was a mix of smiles, surprise, and of course a few happy tears mixed in for good measure. Moments after their proposal, another couple cheered from the parking lot and made their way over to let them know they had also just got engaged and that they recorded their proposal from the parking lot. After sharing in the joy and showing off the new bling with their new friends, these cuties rocked a few engagement photos into the sunset! It was a fun night, and one we're sure Jared and Aspen won't soon forget! Congrats to this sweet couple and we hope you all enjoy following along!
