Jackson Hole Mountain Elopement

Now that we’ve reached the end of the year, we’re finally starting to get caught up on all things blog!  We were blessed to have another awesome year serving 80 couples for their weddings & elopements from the east coast to the west.  It was our busiest summer season ever! One filled with new adventures and some pretty amazing couples!  By far one of our favorite elopements this year was Carlie and Brian’s beautiful celebration at The Wedding Tree!  Their special day started in Driggs, Idaho at a sweet air bnb a little off the beaten path.  Driggs is always a popular lodging option for a lot of our couples traveling to the Jackson Hole area for their weddings or engagements.  Right when we walked in immediately hit it off with Brian and Carlie!  We knew from connecting on the phone they were going to be a fun couple but we had no idea we were going to make two new friends in the process.  From the get go, their families were so welcoming and really made us feel like one of the crew.  We can’t thank them enough for that.  After getting ready and a few cheers to go around, it was off to The Wedding Tree!

If you’ve never been, this is easily one of the most popular elopement locations for couples looking to get married in Jackson Hole.  It’s fairly close to town, usually not too crowded, and the views, oh the views!  It’s easy to see why this scenic location has grown in popularity over the years!  After an intimate ceremony, it was on to our favorite part of every elopement, couples portraits!  Carlie and Brian made our jobs too easy.  Beyond having amazing chemistry and being dynamite on camera, they gave us the go ahead that every wedding photographer dreams of which was to take them wherever we wanted for their photos.  We hit a little secret spot we love for our adventurous couple and the of course the always popular mormon row.  One of the cool things about eloping in the Jackson Hole area is the Grand Teton mountain range being visible almost everywhere when you head towards the park.  We had perfect light on this day and the mountains were showing off for sure!

After these cuties crushed it around the park, we were off to Stillwest Brewing for their reception!  Carlie and Brian invited us to hang with them which was completely unexpected and so appreciated.  They flew in a super talented musician whose name is eluding me at the moment but he and his lead guitarist absolutely crushed it!  The drinks were flowing, the laughs were plentiful, and it really was the perfect ending to such a perfect day.  Big congrats to Carlie and Brian, and as always, we hope you all enjoy following along!
